Earth Day Clean Up In honor of Earth Day on April 22nd, residents can volunteer to clean up a street of their choice within the Township during the month of April.

Children’ s Fishing Fawcett Fields Saturday, April 4 8:00am – 1:00pm The Allison Park Sportsmen’ s Club will be stocking Little Pine Creek for opening day. This event is for children 12 years of age and under who are accompanied by an adult. Bait, a few rods, and coaching will also be provided. haler

Shaler Garden Club Plant Sale Kiwanis Park Saturday, May 2 9:00am – 12:00pm Spruce up your garden affordably this Spring by shopping at the Shaler Garden Club’ s 72nd Annual Plant Sale. A large selection of native plants and hardy perennials will be offered at bargain prices, along with herbs, vegetables, houseplants, bulbs, hanging baskets and pretty potted arrangements perfect for Mother’ s Day gifts. A basket raffle and bake sale will add to the festivities. Cash or credit cards accepted. Come rain or shine. Bike Rodeo Saturday, May 16 10:00am – 1:00pm Join us at Kiwanis Park to learn about safe bicycle riding and“ rules of the road.” Children are fitted for and receive a free bicycle helmet. Enter a free raffle to win a new bicycle! Light refreshments provided.

Memorial Day Service Shaler Post 785 American Legion and VFW Post 9199 will conduct a Memorial Day Service on Monday morning, May 25, 2026 at 11:30 AM. The Service will be conducted at the flagstaff / cannon in the Kyper / Mt. Royal Cemetery. All are invited to remember the military service personnel who helped preserve our freedom and way of life our great Country enjoys. Additionally, flags will be placed on veteran graves on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 9:30 AM, 2:00 PM, and again at 6:00 PM. Anyone who wishes to help is invited.
