MILLVALE MILITARY BANNER PROGRAM
It is that time again-
If anyone is looking to honor the military veteran in their lives, and they are from Millvale Borough or belong to the Millvale VFW- consider applying for a Military Banner!
Submissions are now open for 2025; we have a deadline of July 1, 2025 for production in time to display them for Millvale Days.
Military Banners are of a high quality vinyl material and are rated to last for three years; we generally post the banners from Memorial Day thru Veterans’ Day throughout the Borough. We store the banners in flat storage indoors during the late fall and winter months as to protect them from the elements.
For our early submissions who already have a banner- if we notice that a banner is damaged from the elements or showing signs of wear and tear after 3 years, we will contact the sponsor of the banner to see if you are interested in replacing the banner at cost. There will be no need to resubmit the application / photo as those are kept on file with the Borough as well as the layout of the banner.

WASTE MANAGEMENT BULK PICK UP AND HOLIDAY SCHEDULE INFORMATION
Millvale Borough is serviced by Waste Management for residential refuse and recycling collection. Refuse and recycling are picked up on Friday morning, weekly. You may put your refuse and recycling out on Thursday evening after 5pm.
Per our contract, Millvale households are permitted to set out one Bulk item a month for collection. We are happy to provide a schedule when Bulk pick up will be, as well as the Waste Management holiday pick up schedule.

Pride Millvale – June 14, 2025. Now in our 5th year of celebrating our diverse LGBTQIA + community, this family-friendly event is a testament to the statement that Millvale is Love.
