Reflecting community priority for neighborhood schools, the Shaler Area School District is transitioning to a K – 5 elementary model and aligning middle school programming for Grades 6 – 8. This enables us to enhance educational continuity, reduce student transitions, and support long-term operational sustainability.
2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR
The district will implement the K – 5 model across four renamed elementary schools:
Burchfield Elementary | Marzolf Elementary Reserve Elementary | Scott Elementary
