The Shaler Area High School girls’ 4x100m relay team earned silver medals at the 2026 WPIAL Championships. Congratulations to Octavia Dixon, Bella Filo, Lucy McClean, and Lilly Trgovic!

� Journalistic Accolade

Shaler Area High School student Cassandra Schneck earned national recognition this spring, taking second place in the Opinion category of the annual journalism contest sponsored by the National Federation of Press Women. Schneck’ s piece,“ Not a Stereotypical Family...,” was selected from entries submitted by high school journalists across the country.

� Record-Shattering

Kendall Craig set two school records at Shaler Area Elementary School’ s 26th Annual Titan Decathlon Championship. Kendall made SAES history with her discus throw and an incredible softball throw of 168.8 feet, which shattered the previous record by over 20 feet!

� Standout in STEM

Shaler Area High School student Aubrey Cox earned a Certificate Of Merit from The Society Of Women Engineers. This welldeserved recognition is a direct reflection of the dedication, skill, and hard work that Aubrey has invested into her academic pursuits.

The Shaler Area Boys Volleyball Team claimed the 2A WPIAL Championship— the program’ s fourth consecutive title and a testament to the culture of excellence that Head Coach Paul Stadelman and his staff have built over the years. Our studentathletes competed with determination, pride, and sportsmanship throughout the season to yield an incredible fourth championship in a row!

Shaler Area High School senior Connor Bauer earned the Pennsylvania State Championship in the Baking and Pastry competition through the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America( FCCLA), showcasing the incredible skills he’ s developed as a secondyear student in A. W. Beattie’ s Pastry Arts program!
