Inches Nursery will offer fresh-cut Christmas trees, wreaths and home decor this holiday season! The nursery can customize the wreaths with accent bows and other decorations upon request. It will also offer grave blankets and crosses, which are also customizable.

LIGHT UP NIGHT WITH KEYNOTES
Enjoy Pittsburgh’ s 2025 Light Up Night fireworks from one of the best views in the city— LeMont Restaurant on Mt. Washington! On Saturday, Nov. 22, Keynotes will host a special evening featuring cocktails, dinner, live entertainment, raffle baskets and a lottery tree, all leading up to the Zambelli fireworks at 9:30 p. m. The fundraiser supports Keynotes’ mission of awarding $ 16,000 in annual music scholarships to talented Allegheny County students, with more than $ 452,000 awarded since 1970.
CHILD HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SEWICKLEY TO PRESENT BIENNIAL BALL & PLAY
The Child Health Association of Sewickley( CHA) is bringing back one of its most treasured traditions with the Biennial Ball & Play on Nov. 21 and 22 at the Edgeworth Club. The elegant twonight event will include theater, dining and dancing— featuring an original comedic play written and performed by community and CHA members that humorously celebrates Sewickley life and traditions.
Guests enjoy a formal dinner, live music and dancing— all in support of CHA’ s mission to enhance the quality of life for children across Western Pennsylvania through health, education and charitable initiatives. Continuing a legacy that dates back more than a century, the Ball & Play is sure to showcase Sewickley’ s spirit of creativity, generosity and community connection.
RING IN THE NEW YEAR‘ AROUND THE WORLD’
The Child Health Association of Sewickley will host its“ Around the World” New Year’ s Eve Soirée on Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 8 p. m. to 12:30 a. m. at the Edgeworth Club.
Guests will enjoy an elegant blacktie evening featuring international cuisine, signature cocktails, and lively DJ entertainment. Tickets are $ 250 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Child Health Association’ s mission to support the health and well-being of children across Western Pennsylvania.

MICHAEL SEXAUER BECOMES CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AT HOLY FAMILY INSTITUTE
Michael Sexauer, who has served as president of Holy Family Institute( HFI) since 2022, was appointed chief executive officer in July 2025, becoming the organization’ s first lay leader in its 125-year history.
He succeeded Sister Linda Yankoski, CSFN, who transitioned to president emerita after more than 40 years of service.
Sexauer— who joined HFI in 2015 and previously held roles as executive director of the Holy Family Foundation, chief operating officer and president— brings extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to the mission of supporting vulnerable children and families in the Pittsburgh region. Sister Linda will continue to serve as an advisor and ambassador for HFI and Nazareth Prep.
