INTRODUCE A GIRL TO ENGINEERING
On Tuesday, Apr. 12, Westinghouse proudly sponsored“ Introduce a Girl to Engineering” in Churchill. Introduce a Girl to Engineering is a recurring, national movement that aims to introduce female high school students to careers in engineering.
Twenty-five young women from seven local school districts including Chartiers-Houston High School, Greensburg Salem High School, Oakland Catholic, Obama Academy, North Hills High School, Pine-Richland High School and Quaker Valley School District experienced engineering up-close and personal.
This is the 14th consecutive year that Westinghouse has partnered with the Pittsburgh chapter of Women in Nuclear( WIN) to host and inspire female students to pursue STEMrelated careers.
