Ross Township Volunteer Firemen Recruitment & Retention Committee Discount Club Update
Ross Township has been blessed with a 100 % volunteer fire service for many years. The desire of this committee, business owners and every tax payer is to ensure that this purely volunteer group remains intact, well trained and ready to go.
Ross Township has 8 fire companies with approximately 300 volunteers consisting of fire fighters, administrative help, fire police and junior members. Every year state regulations make the cost and time requirements for training more demanding on new and veteran members. Each new member costs the companies upwards of $ 3,000 which is covered by Ross Township General Fund budget contributions, federal and state grants and fund raising efforts of the fire companies.
Help us thank them for the commitment and a job well done by becoming a member of the Ross Township Volunteer Firemen Discount Club. Any discount of any amount is deeply appreciated. Any volunteer requesting a discount at your establishment must present photo ID to receive the discount. The Discount Club listing of participants will be published in our magazine quarterly and posted at each fire hall. Following are the current participants:

Ross / West View EMS 2017 Capital Fund Drive Underway
It is once again that time of the year for Ross / West View Emergency Medical Services Authority to reach out to the community for donations.
Ross / West View EMS is a vital and integral part of the healthcare delivery system in our community we call home. For nearly 40 years we have been able to continue to provide the highest quality of pre-hospital services thanks to the generosity of those who have contributed to our Capital Fund Campaign.
As you may know, an important part of providing pre-hospital healthcare is the generations of revenue through charitable donations such as this. Thanks to financial gifts in the past, you have helped your ambulance service purchase new ambulances, diagnostic equipment and other specialized medical devices.
With the decreasing reimbursement rates of health insurances and the cost of medical equipment soaring, we are constantly working to generate the financial capital to purchase new technology as well as replacing older, worn out equipment. An ambulance replacement alone has now reached nearly $ 200,000.
Therefore, we once again need your help! As a non-profit organization, we receive very little, if any, local, state or federal tax dollars for our operation. Your contribution ensures that your ambulance service is prepared with the most up to date, life sustaining equipment needed to care for the critically ill and injured in our community.
While no one ever thinks they will need an ambulance, when that 911 call occurs, you can have that piece of mind in knowing that you will receive a response with the most state-of-the-art medical equipment and vehicles available.

Please help us continue our mission by considering your TAX- DEDUCTABLE donation of $ 50.00 or more which will permit us to continue to maintain the necessary equipment to treat the ill and injured in our communities. oss Township
