Health and Fitness At the ROSS COMMUNITY CENTER YOGA Instructor: Angie Collins Ages: 4-6 Children will learn life-skills like sharing and team-work while learning the fundamentals of basketball: shooting, passing and dribbling. Min: 4 Max: 12 Ross Resident: $40 Non-resident: $50 Dates: 4-week session, Wednesdays, starting Feb. 1st, 5:30-6:15 p.m 1ST AND 2ND GRADE BASKETBALL Instructors: Pam Hurt and Jason Pirring Great basic skills and exercise opportunity for Girls and Boys! Kids in this program will start by learning basic ball skills: handling, passing and shooting the ball. Further into the program, we will inter-mix games with intro to basketball skills practice. Ross Resident: $60 Non-resident: $70 Dates: 6-week session, starting Wednesday, January 11, 6:30‑7:30 p.m. INTRODUCING: WACKY WEDNESDAYS AT THE ROSS COMMUNITY CENTER Instructor: Di Macioce, ERYT This dynamic class will have an emphasis on breath/body movement as you flow through poses while building strength and balance both physically and mentally. This is a perfect way to end your day. Ross Residents: $80 or $9/Class Non-Residents: $90 or $10/Class 10-week session, Mondays, 6:30-7:30 p.m., starting Jan 9th No class on Feb 20th ZUMBA: LOVE 2 DANCE Attention Parents & Kids 10 and under! We are looking for interested kids and parents (ages 6-10) who would be interested in participating in weekly activities. The Recreation Department is looking for ideas and help developing programs for kids in this age category. One week may be kids’ fitness night; creativity night (arts, crafts, creative writing, etc.); or a talent show – the possibilities are endless! Instructor: Monica Milsop The dance party is about to resume. If you love to dance this is the place to be: with a mix of mainstream music and traditional Zumba music.
