High School Expands Offerings with The Trading Post N OR TH HI L LS SC HO OL DI STRI C T N E WS or th Hills School District T he Trading Post in North Hills High School’s cafeteria is the district’s newest spot to grab a quick coffee or a tasty snack. Started earlier this school year, The Trading Post is open daily from 6:45 to 9:15 a.m. and offers students and staff a variety of iced and hot coffee and tea beverages such as flavored lattes and freshly brewed iced tea, an assortment of bottled beverages and grab n’ go breakfast items including muffins and cereal bars. Students and staff can pay using funds from their MySchoolBucks account or with cash. New items will be added to The Trading Post’s offerings throughout the school year to fit the changing tastes of the seasons. Also in the works are branding and logo design as well as a “green” initiative with reusable North Hills cups in partnership with the high school business department. N NHSD Parents Invited to Digital Boot Camp Series orth Hills School District is partnering with Northland Public Library, Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) – North Campus and North Allegheny School District to present a monthly Saturday morning Digital Boot Camp for Parents series. Sessions will be held through April and seek to educate middle school and high school parents on best practices for digital citizenship. The
