NHSD Police Officer
Alexis Vukela!
O
fficer Alexis Vukela is our newest North Hills School
District police officer. Ms. Vukela worked for the Evans
City Seven Fields Regional Police Department and the
Chatham University Police Department before joining
the North Hills School District Police Department in late 2019. She
has her master’s degree in applied criminology.
Why did you want to become a school police officer?
I love the school atmosphere! I want the opportunity to mentor
and educate students and being a school police officer is perfect for
reaching these goals.
What is your favorite part of the job?
I really enjoy how I have the opportunity to build positive
relationships with the students that I come in contact with every
day.
What are you most looking forward to about the job?
I’m looking forward to the possible activities, presentations and
programs that I can help create for the students and staff. There are
so many possibilities!
