Ensemble to perform
at Music for All
National Festival
T
he North Hills High School Wind Ensemble will perform on a
national stage this spring at the prestigious 2020 Music for All
National Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Wind Ensemble, made up of 48 students in grades 9-12,
was selected as one of just 16 bands in the country and the only one from
Pennsylvania. North Hills is also the smallest school district invited to
perform.
The world-renowned Music for All National Festival is recognized for its
aura of heritage and iconic musical legacy. Col. Arnald Gabriel, Conductor
Emeritus of the U.S. Air Force Band, has called it the “epitome of music
festivals in the world.”
The Music for All National Festival will take place March 12-14.
Thousands will attend including leaders in music education from around
the world.
