WINTER 2025
Smile! You’ re on Curbside Camera The Recycling Committee’ s New Mission: If you thought your biggest recycling mistake was tossing a greasy pizza box in the blue recycling bin, think again. The Borough’ s Recycling Committee has taken things to the next level— by turning into the roving eco-paparazzi. Armed with a smartphone, committee members have been spotted cruising the streets, snapping photos of bins that do not meet the Borough’ s trash and recycling standards.“ I thought it was Amazon delivering a package,” said a local resident“ Turns out it was a member of the recycling committee, documenting my shameful use of a plastic bag in the recycling bin.” This new mission isn’ t about punishment- it’ s about education. The Borough is not here to judge; we want to correct trash and recycling failures and find ways to better educate the public.
