BOROUGH OF PLUM 2026 LEAF COLLECTION PROGRAM
Collection Schedule Leaves will be collected on the weekday following your regular trash pickup day.
No Collection on:
• November 11, 2026( Wednesday)
• November 26, 2026( Thursday)
• November 27, 2026( Friday)
Collection Ends December 4, 2026( Friday)*
* The end date may change if winter weather requires leaf collection equipment to be converted for snow removal operations.
Collection Guidelines DO
✓ Rake leaves to the back of the curb. ✓ Keep leaves visible and accessible. Do not place leaf piles behind shrubs or bushes. ✓ Keep leaves away from storm drains to prevent blockages. ✓ Move vehicles away from gathered leaf piles on collection days. DO NOT
✗ Place leaves directly on the street.

✗ Rake leaves into flower beds or landscaped areas. Leaf collection equipment uses powerful suction that may remove mulch, stone, plants, or other landscaping materials.
✗ Place leaves in bags. Bagged leaves will not be collected.
✗ Include branches, grass clippings, trash, or any material other than leaves. Collected leaves are recycled into compost.
Important Information
Every effort will be made to follow the designated collection schedule. Unforeseen circumstances may occasionally delay collection. Please do NOT contact the Public Works Department regarding missed pickups or to request special pickups.

Residents may choose not to participate in the Borough leaf collection program if leaves are disposed of in accordance with Pennsylvania DEP guidelines and regulations.
