IN EACH OTHER’ S CORNER
Plum Borough School District offers students an exceptional foundation upon which to build personally, academically, and professionally. That is not only due to the high caliber of instruction in our schools, but the strong character of our citizens and the robust relational network in our community. Three graduates who received their bachelor’ s degrees from Carlow University this spring are examples of these advantages.
Francesca Beighley, Jillian Durst, and Alyssa Schofield became friends playing little league in Plum. Their friendship was a support and encouragement throughout their academic journey in elementary, middle, high school, and college. They now step into their careers with unparalleled friendship to continue to propel their professional success.
CELEBRATING OUR EDUCATORS
For teacher appreciation week, the Parent Teacher Organization for O’ Block Elementary School hosted a series of teacher appreciation events, including ice cream, raffle baskets, and a make your own bouquet flower station, emblazoned with the heartfelt sentiment,“ Build your own bouquet today— because every single one of you deserves to look at something just as beautiful as you all are, inside and out!”
We are grateful for the vibrant PTOs who support our schools in such generous ways!
