1st Round Draft Pick Alex Kirilloff
Plum’s Alex Kirilloff was selected by the Minnesota Twins as the 15th
pick in the first round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. Alex
was selected as the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Baseball Player of the Year
and the Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year for 2016. Alex led the
Mustangs to a WPIAL AAAA section title and second place finishes in
the WPIAL and PIAA championship games this past season. Alex was
named the Appalachian League Player of the Year. He batted .332 for
the Elizabethton Twins Rookie Level Team in Tennessee.
