AW Beattie Career Center Recognizes Students
A.W. Beattie Career Center honored several students. For Dec. through Jan., the center named Pine-Richland High
School senior Nicholas Sundo as Student of the Month for Emergency Response Technology. In Nov. through Dec., the
center recognized sophomore Susan Bullington in Advanced Computer Programming, sophomore Savannah Luhrman
in Advertising Design, junior Morgan Galuska in Culinary Arts and senior Grant Felt in HVAC. In addition, senior Sydney
Sherman placed second in the Phipps Conservatory Fairfield Visual Arts Challenge for a comic strip she created through
AW Beattie in the Environmental Change Comic Strip Competition. She will move on to the global competition.

Drama Club Presents Annie, Jr.
Pine-Richland High School is gearing up for the spring
musical and is planning to stage "The Music Man" The high
school will be performing the show Mar. 3-5 and Mar. 1112. A complimentary show is being hosted on Mar. 3 at 4
p.m. for senior citizens. The show will take place at 7:30
p.m. on Mar. 4-5 and Mar. 11-12 with a matinee time on Mar.
12. The story centers on Harold Hill, played by senior Rush
Hodgin, who arrives in small town Iowa with a moneymaking
scheme but not everyone is falling for his ploy including local
librarian Marian Paroo, played by senior Madison Engle. For
