Seniors Now Graduates
Congratulations to the Pine-Richland High School Class of 2016. More than 380 seniors are now graduates. The high school hosted commencement exercises on June 3 at the stadium. Pine-Richland named Hannah Reiling as Valedictorian, Maxwell Skirpan as Salutatorian and Nathan Carnovale as Tertiary. This year, 19 students were named finalists, semifinalists and commended in the National Merit Scholarship program, which represents the top 34,000 test takers in the country. The Class of 2016 earned more than $ 10 million in scholarship offers exceeding last year’ s record of more than $ 8 million. Students will be attending 97 colleges around the US including top notch institutions such as Carnegie Mellon, Princeton, Bucknell and Lehigh universities, to name just a few. Three students are enlisting in the military with one student being accepted to the United States Military Academy.

Strategic Planning District Maps Out Future
Overview Pine-Richland School District finalized its strategic plan through 2019. The strategic plan is broken down into five categories which enabled the district to develop strategic objectives and action plans which are measurable and include: Teaching & Learning Student Services & Programs Finance & Operations Workforce Development

Mission The mission of the Pine-Richland school district is to focus on learning for every student every day.
Vision The district’ s vision is captured in a picture created by 2016 graduate Julian Brooks, which provides a vivid reminder of the challenge and opportunity of our schools. The image conveys the following: Learning is our primary purpose.
