THE JOURNEY( AGES 18 AND OVER) This tour is a wonderful pilgrimage for all that take the tour. Everywhere you look there are religious and historical collections and artifacts. As part of the tour, we ask each visitor to bring one or more canned goods to leave at the Carmelites’ door. The Carmelite nuns maintain a rule of enclosure, which means they remain separated from the general public, staying behind the monastery walls and gardens. Stops included in the day are the Basilica of St. Michael, Our Lady of the Alleghenies Shrine, Monastery Carmel of St. Therese of Lisieux, a buffet lunch at St. Francis College, a stop at the Immaculate Conception Chapel in St. Francis College, the Mt.
