More Than 400 Visitors Attend Sixth Annual Read Local Eat Local
The Peters Township Public Library hosted the sixth Read Local Eat Local author showcase on Saturday, September 6. The event was generously funded by The Peters Township Library Foundation, who helped purchase the tents, tables, and additional entertainment fees for the event. This event features local writers, illustrators, and food trucks in a unique festival celebrating authors. 22 authors and three food trucks headlined this year’ s event, with over 400 visitors purchasing books, meeting authors, grabbing lunch, and enjoying the local talent. We were pleased to continue growing this interactive event and received wonderful feedback from the community.
