ON THE ROCKS Saturday , December 14 , 1 to 2 p . m . On the Rocks is presented by writer Maria Constanzo Palmer , who will discuss the real-life journey of her father , restaurateur Joseph Costanzo Jr . Her talk will chronicle his rise to success in the 1990s as an owner of the highly acclaimed Primadonna Restaurant and as a radio host , columnist , and aspiring politician , to his sharp fall in the early 2000s , ending in an investigation and a stint in federal prison .
LEARN & LUNCH WITH THE PITTSBURGH ZOO Thursday , December 12 , 12 to 1:45 p . m . Join us for a learn and lunch for adults ! The Pittsburgh Zoo has changed drastically since opening in 1898 . This photographic presentation will guide you through more than a century of growth and look towards the future of the zoo . Lunch will be served following this presentation . Registration is required to reserve your spot .
MARQUIS DE LAFAYETTE PRESENTATION Friday , December 13 , 2 to 3 p . m . Come and learn about the life of the Marquis de Lafayette , who aided America during and after the American Revolution . This is a preliminary event celebrating the 1824-1825 tour of Lafayette , who stopped in Washington , Pa ., on May 25 , 1825 . The National Pike Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be presenting this program .
ONYX STORM PARTY Tuesday , January 14 , 6 to 7:30 p . m . Join us one week before the release of Onyx Storm — the next book in the best-selling Fourth Wing series — to play trivia , walk the parapet and revisit favorite moments from Fourth Wing and Iron Flame . Get more “ Romantasy ” book recommendations and have fun with other readers ! Light refreshments will be served in this program for adults ( 18 +).

We can show you a library e-Resource like Libby or Hoopla , help you set up a new email , teach you the basics of Microsoft Word , and more ! Help is available on a first-come , first-served basis . Please come prepared with a specific question , bring your device and charger , and bring any usernames or passwords you might need . Please note we are unable to diagnose or fix malfunctioning devices , type or proofread documents , or assist with any accounts or functions that require sensitive information like credit card numbers or social security numbers . This is a drop-in class ; registration is not required .
MEMORY LAB PREP Thursday , January 16 , 6 to 7 p . m . Excited to try out the library ’ s new DIY Memory Lab but unsure about what to bring or how to organize it ? Join us to learn how best to select , prepare and organize your items prior to scanning them in the Lab .

Take a stroll down memory lane with current and former residents of Peters Township both near and far as you share stories from Peters Township ’ s past in this hybrid program . You may attend at the library , or online . Each session will start with a brief introduction by the library archivist .
