Computer Programs
Most computer classes cost $ 5, although free classes are occasionally offered. Basic mouse and keyboard skills required. Most classes are limited to 9 students and are offered on Tuesdays, 7:15 to 8:45 p. m. Registration must be received by 4 p. m. on the Monday before class.
Computers 101

Determine what computer to buy by looking at what you want to do with it. Participants will learn about: the various parts of a computer and what they do, computer terminology, software that will be needed and useful techniques that will make using computers easier.
3D Design and Printing

Learn all about 3D printing technology and all of the fun objects that you can create by downloading, slicing, preparing, and printing.
Social Networking
Jan. 3
Learn how to communicate with your friends, family and workmates using social media. Areas covered include Blogs and Facebook.
Word Processing 1
Jan. 10 Learn how to create and save documents, work with text, format characters and paragraphs and print documents.
Word Processing 2
Jan. 17
Learn about indents, tabs and tables, automating tasks, formatting pages, styles and themes.
Word Processing 3
Jan. 24
Learn about templates, multiple columns, adding graphics and mail merge.
Genealogy Research
Jan. 31
Learn how to use the library ' s resources to help you search for your roots. The lesson covers how to use the Heritage Quest database, Ancestry Library Edition, and Google.
