50 Year Grads: PTHS Class of 1975
Each year, the District takes pride in welcoming alumni to graduation who are celebrating their 50 year reunion. This year, fourteen members of the Class of 1975 were on hand to cheer on the new graduates and visit the new High School. This tradition is an important part of our commencement event with a special reception provided for them before the ceremony by the Peters Township Education Foundation.
Honoring Our District Retirees
As we celebrate the end of the school year, we also honor the careers of our colleagues who are retiring this year. The people who make up our District set us apart and each of these individuals has made an impact on our students, community and his / her colleagues. We offer them our gratitude and wish them all the best. eters Township

STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS
FLAG DAY AT BOWER HILL
Bower Hill second graders held a special ceremony in recognition of Flag Day before the school year ended. Students shared information about the history of our flag, said AND signed the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed some special guests. Mrs. Hanak stopped in her role as Betsy Ross to share her part in making our first flag. Members of the PT Fire Department were on hand to accept a donation from the class, and McMurray VFW Post 764 visited to share information with the students as well- they gifted the 2nd grade with red poppies and a mini-flag to take home!
END OF THE YEAR CELEBRATIONS
Our Elementary students celebrated the end of a great school year with a day full of fun at each school. Whether they were enjoying Kona Ice, soaking their teachers or parents in the dunk tanks or having fun on the playground … it’ s safe to say a good time was had by all. A special thank you to the army of PTA volunteers who made these days a success.
