Great Halloween Costume Swap Saturday, Oct. 8, 9:30 to 11 a.m. The Ware Family have attended the swap for 3 years in a row and have found costumes for the whole family! 26 Peters Township The library’s GO Green Club will host the 4th annual “Great Halloween Costume Swap” on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the library. Persons interested in participating can drop off gently used costumes for children, teens or adults on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. or Friday, Oct. 7 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Costumes should be in GREAT condition. Participants will get a token for each costume donated. Return on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. with your token and shop for a swap. Any costumes and accessories remaining will be donated to a local charity. Adult and teen volunteers are needed on Friday and Saturday to help with the swap. The first rule of Identity Protection – if you don’t need it, dispose of it… responsibly. The Better Business Bureau will offer free on-site document destruction at the library. BBB volunteers will guide cars through a moving line, offload their disposable items, shred them on the spot and distribute goodie bags with educational ID theft and fraud prevention materials. Each vehicle may dispose of a maximum of 3 boxes / bags of paper-based materials.
