LoveLee Salon -
Peters Native Opens New Salon Where Everyone Can Feel at Home
C
reating a buzz is never in
short supply with Julie
Lee, owner of LoveLee
Salon in Peters Township.
A native of Peters and
graduate of Peters Township High
School, Julie is now bringing her salon
to set down permanent roots in the
community she adores.
Creating an experience for her
clientele that is unique to “LoveLee
Salon” happens the moment they walk
through the door…its known as the
“LoveLee Feeling”.
Julie credits her entrepreneurial spirit partly from those in her linage
and from the support of friends and family. She originally started
her business at Sola Salon Studios in the galleria of Mt. Lebanon, a
collective of small studios for stylists without their own storefront
salon. Within a year, she upgraded her space to a two chair studio.
Not long after this, Julie decided she wanted to offer more to her local
established clientele by creating a home for LoveLee.
“We opened on October 1st, 2019, and have five hairdressers on
site,” Julie explained. “We offer the best in dimensional, ‘lived-in’ color
in the area.”
Some of the LoveLee stylists have roots in Peters Township as well;
two started their careers in the township at local top-chart salons.
Services range from balayage to mens and kids cuts. All clients receive
a consultation to discuss their needs and wants with their hair to fit
any lifestyle.
“In the salon industry, if you keep learning, you keep growing”, Julie
says, “therefore education is a top priority for myself and my stylists”.
Not only does she bring education to the salon but new hairdressers
begin their education by assisting Julie every day, teaching them the
skills and knowledge she has learned throughout a decade in the
salon industry. Due to the importance of education LoveLee Salon
regularly hosts in-house classes taught by premiere educators in the
industry.
Showing hometown support for Julie comes easy but creating
a professional and personal “LoveLee feeling” for her clients is the
goal. She wants to become her clients “hair home”. In addition to a

commitment to today’s styles and techniques available to create those
styles, Julie purposely keeps her salon home like, so that clients can
relax and unwind during their service.
“Everybody is treated like family here”, she explained. “ We want
our clients to feel pampered and relaxed where they can just be
themselves in a place that feels like home.
