EVERYTHING SCOTTISH!
Many area residents have Scottish roots that run deep. You can celebrate this heritage at Pittsburgh’ s Tartan Day event on Saturday, April 11, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, located in Bethel Park in the South Hills.
It is sponsored by the St. Andrew’ s Society of Pittsburgh, and this year will also celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America as well as Bethel Presbyterian Church!
The fun begins at 10 a. m. and runs until 4:30 p. m., with free admission and parking. There will be vendors selling Scottish goods and memorabilia, information on the clans of Scotland, workshops, great food, raffles, and entertainment— including, of course, bagpipers!
Proceeds from the event benefit the St. Andrew’ s Society Scholarship Fund. For more information, visit standrewspittsburgh. org.

The park is a lovely place to take your best friend, and to meet others in the area.
Note that there are no restroom facilities and no water source for your pets. So be sure to bring water, especially on hot days.
