AHN aims to provide exceptional , personalized , and meaningful care throughout our network . We use a third-party vendor , Press Ganey , to gather patient satisfaction information , and use this information to continually strengthen the patient-doctor relationship . We ’ re delighted that this year , the AHN Forbes Hospital maternity and women ’ s units ranked in the 99th percentile for “ rate ” and “ recommend ”. This places the units in the top 1 % across 11 categories within the Press Ganey database of 2,400 similar hospitals . “ The entire staff and team worked together and collaborated to achieve this goal : Doctors , nurses , advanced practice providers , support staff , environmental and dietary services , and our forward-thinking leadership who supported us in all our
endeavors ,” said Benjamin Peticca , MD , Medical Director Forbes Maternity Unit . “ I am especially proud that we reached our highest scores in patient communication with doctors and nurses . This is the most important aspect of patient care and patient experience .”

There ’ s a lot that Sadie Ackerman , MD , AHN OB / GYN , loves about her specialty : Taking care of women through all phases of their lives , and a mix of medicine , the office , the hospital , and surgery . “ But undoubtedly delivering babies is the most fun part of my job ,” Dr . Ackerman says .
