Welcome to North Huntingdon Parks & Recreation
A Message from the Parks and Recreation Coordinator
Our Department of Parks and Recreation, with the help of our Recreation Advisory Board, has been hard at work planning fun and exciting special events and programs for the North Huntingdon community. We have already hosted a wide variety of special events and programs during the first half of this year, and are very much looking forward to many more during the second half! Our offerings are always expanding, so please be sure to stay up-to-date by visiting our Social Media platforms under North Huntingdon Township and by visiting the Parks & Recreation page on our North Huntingdon Township website. orth Huntingdon

Our Department of Parks and Recreation, with the help of our Department of Public Works, has also been hard at work implementing updates to our parks! Throughout this year, the community will be able to see this progress by experiencing our updated amenities: new park trash cans in Oak Hollow Park and Indian Lake Park; new water fountains in Oak Hollow Park; new park grills in Oak Hollow Park; updated playground equipment in Westmoreland City Park, Lions Park, and Lincoln Acres Park; updated bocce court at Tinker’ s Run Park; updates to Braddock’ s Trail Park to address stormwater run-off issues; and drainage upgrades at our park’ s baseball fields.
Looking to get involved? We are always seeking out volunteers! Please let us know you are interested by sending an email with your contact information to rec @ nhtpa. us or by completing our Volunteer Interest Form on our North Huntingdon Township website.
Thank you for staying Connected to North Huntingdon Township!
