This spring , the graduating class of 2024 was recognized nationwide for its record number of twins . With a little over 400 students in the class of 2024 , these 11 sets of twins make up about 5 % of the grade . Moving on to college is a bittersweet moment for all graduating seniors , but especially for these students .
A majority of the twins have other siblings but Luke and Alexis Klamut only have each other . With Luke headed off to Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the fall , and Alexis on her way to Shippensburg University , things will be a little different for the both of them . “ Since Luke and I are the only two , we have pretty much gone through everything together . Going to separate colleges will definitely be different but I am excited to see how we both grow as people on our own ” says Alexis . However , for Abigail and Sophie Bowser , college will just be an extension of their already close bond with one another . Though they have not decided where they will be attending college , they are certain they will end up together . “ We have been through so much together our whole lives and I cannot imagine going through such a big change such as college without her by my side ,” Abigail expressed .
When asked what his favorite and least favorite parts of being a twin are , Jack Cassley responded , “ I get this question a lot and my answer rarely changes . My favorite part is definitely having someone who gets exactly what you are going through whether it be with family , school , or friends . My least favorite part , however , is sharing things such as a birthday . Going to a different college from my sister , Rachel , will be refreshing because I will have the opportunity to be my own person .” Jack will be

For Jenna and Julia Walko , having a twin is something positive that they definitely take advantage of . “ When we were young we looked very similar and our favorite thing to do was play tricks on our parents . Looking back , they probably never believed us when we switched places , but it brought us pure joy ” says Jenna . “ Even though we don ’ t do things like that anymore , it is nice to have someone I can always count on and have that certain emotional connection with ” she noted .

As the class of 2024 prepares to embark on the next chapter of their lives , the unique experiences of the twins among them highlight the blend of excitement and bittersweet emotions that graduation brings . Whether venturing off to separate colleges like Luke and Alexis or continuing their journey together like Abigail and Sophie , these twins have shared bonds that have shaped their high school years . As they step into their individual futures , these twins , along with their entire graduating class , carry with them the strength of their shared past and the promise of their unique paths ahead . Congratulations to the twins and the entire class of 2024 on reaching this significant milestone ! orwin
