Norwin School District encourages all District residents,
including senior citizens, to connect with the School District.
A great way to do this is by subscribing to the Norwin
School District’s free weekly e-newsletter. Stay in touch with
Norwin School District news, upcoming events, and student
achievements.
Anyone can subscribe at www.norwinsd.org/newsletter/
You can choose to receive District news as well as individual
school building newsletters.
Norwin residents who are 65
and older can receive a Norwin
Gold Card, which entitles the
bearer to general admission
to any school activity open
to the public, such home
athletic contests. Reserved seat
activities may be purchased
at a reduced rate. Fundraising
activities and events are not
covered by this card.
To apply for a Gold Card,
Norwin residents must
bring their driver’s license to
the Norwin School District
Administration Building
between the hours of 7:30
a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
Requesters must be present
and must show photo ID to the
front desk receptionist.
The Gold Card is a lifetime
pass that never needs to be
renewed. It is only available
for residents of Irwin Borough,
North Irwin Borough, or
North Huntingdon Township.
