North Huntingdon Township 2025 Road Paving Program
Our Road Paving Program starts with an initial assessment from our Roadbotics software. Roadbotics uses artificial intelligence to analyze the condition of our roads based on visual input data from a camera and assigns each road a grade. The Township Senior Project Engineer and the Director of Public Works then review the analysis and group unsatisfactory condition roads together based on location and formulate a longterm, 5-year plan.

In early September, Tresco Paving Corporation started the milling and resurfacing work in Wards 6 and 7 of the Township. Prior to milling and resurfacing, our Public Works employees upgraded and repaired all existing road infrastructure to ensure the longevity of the newly paved roadways. The roads scheduled for milling and resurfacing include:

Russell Standard Corporation mobilized at the end of September to perform the synthetic fiber seal course on the above roads prepared by Tresco.
