On Wednesday , May 25 , 2022 , Norwin High School celebrated the Class of 2022 at the Senior Awards Program . Seniors started off the morning with a breakfast sponsored by Student Council and then moved to the auditorium where we recognized seniors who received a local scholarship or award . It was exciting to be able to hold the awards program in person since the past two awards programs were done virtually . During the Senior Awards Program , over $ 250,000 were awarded from local organizations , families , and clubs .

Norwin School District is fortunate to have very generous donors that make our awards program such a success .

During the program , Dr .

Michael Choby recognized Seniors , Rebecca Testa and Jacob Capets , as the Outstanding Students of the Class of 2022 . He also recognized the recipients of the Richard W . Murdoch Scholarship and John B . Rodgers Scholarship . Combined , these two scholarships are worth over $ 80,000 . The recipient of the Richard W . Murdoch Scholarship was Victoria Hua . Jacob Capets received the John B . Rodgers Scholarship . These scholarships / awards were selected by the high school faculty . The Class of 2022 earned a total of $ 6,024,660 in scholarships which includes both local scholarships and institutional awards . orwin
