What’s Your Number??? This issue we’re showing off some of our favorite “What’s Your Number” photos from our “724” day. Come down to the library for books, videos, and music and watch your number grow! ummer may be drawing to a close, but we have a lot of great events planned for the fall.We’d like to thank everyone who participated in our Summer Reading Program “A Universe of Stories!” and give a special “Thank You” to the Friends of the Norwin Public Library who sponsored this year’s program. We had a wonderful time exploring the solar system and beyond, and we hope you did, too. The Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium will present One Wild Place. Participants will learn what it takes to operate a zoo and also about some of the zoo’s current conservation and research projects. Sugar Scrubs Workshop Thursday, September 19th at 6:30 pm. Impress your friends and relatives this Christmas with homemade sugar scrubs. Learn to make these delicate scented exfoliating scrubs. String Painting Thursday, October 10th at 6:30 pm. String Art is a simple concept, utilizing just paint, string, and paper, but its potential to create striking artwork is boundless. In the coldest month of 1933, somewhere near the Austrian border, passengers aboard the Simpleton-Orient Express experience a murder that will change their lives forever! Trivia Night At the Norwin Library Wednesday, November 6 at 6:30 pm Do you think you have what it takes to answer 50 general knowledge questions? This will be a competition with teams of 4-5 people.
