Wednesday Storytime!
Every Wednesday through Nov. 30
9:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Children who are ready to sit and listen to a
story along with their caregiver can come
down to the library for a 30-minute storytime.
Children can enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and
rhythms. No registration required.
Music & Movement
Thursdays until Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m.
Music and Movement is back! Each Thursday
under the tree in the Children’s and Teens’
area. Children able to sit through a 30-minute
storytime with music, simple instruments,
scarves and dancing are welcome to join us.
No registration is required.
Sci-Tots Storytime
Mondays through Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. or
1 p.m.
It’s time again for Science-Tots. Each
storytime is related to a STEM theme with
stories, songs, games and an experiment for
children age three to five years old and their
caregivers. No registration required.
Diorama-rama!
Through Nov. 15
Grown-ups: Satisfy your inner 3rd grader!
Kids: Practice your extra-credit skills!
Submit a shoe-box diorama (featuring a scene
from the books “To Kill a Mockingbird,”
“Go Set a Watchman,” “Tru & Nelle” or “The
Sneetches”) through Oct. 31, and we will
display them in the library through Nov.
15. Prizes will be awarded in a number of
categories.
Owl’oween! Pumpkins, Owls, and Bats!
Thursday, Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Drop by the Children’s department for fun
crafts, costume parade, games, treats and
more! We will have a costume parade through
the library so be sure to wear your favorite
costume! No registration required.

Ready for your next Mission? If you are in
third, fourth or fifth grade and you like to
solve problems, find out how things work and
create things from your imagination, sign up
for some engineering fun. This is an hour‑long
adventure and registration is required.

Winter Wonderland Storytime
Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m.
Caregivers and their children who are ready
to sit for a storytime are invited to come
on down to the library for a winter themed
storytime. Books, songs, dancing and library
fun! No registration required.
Playful Parenting Workshop
Wednesday Evenings: November 2, 9 , 16 &
30 from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Have questions about your baby or toddler’s
development? Want to talk one on one with
local experts on healthy development,
nutrition, speech and hearing, music and
movement and early literacy while your
children play? Join us for five weeks of casual
conversation and playful parenting. It’s like a
cocktail party with sippy cups!
This is a drop in, stay as long as you like
program for babies, toddlers and their parents
or caregivers. Older siblings welcome. No
registration required.
Family Fun Night
Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Come enjoy an hour of family STEM fun.
