Homeschool Meetup – Savvy Cinderellas Friday, Sept. 7, at 10 a. m. The Savvy Cinderella Storytellers invite you to experience an amazing storytelling adventure at the library. The heroes in popular fairy tales kill dragons, rescue princesses and outwit giants. As for the heroines … they wait patiently for a prince, get eaten by wolves, have wicked stepmothers and fall asleep. They are beautiful, sweet and helpless. Led by a master storyteller, students will meet fairy tale heroines who are brave, clever, caring and resilient. Students will have fun performing tales with their classmates and earn a fairy wand. For girls in 2nd through 5th grade. Registration required.
STEM Storytime Mondays from Sept. 10 through Oct. 15 10 to 10:45 a. m. OR 1 to 1:45 p. m. Mondays from Nov. 5 through Dec. 10 10 to 10:45 a. m. OR 1 to 1:45 p. m. STEM Storytime is moving to back to Mondays!! Woo-hoo! Children in preschool or kindergarten are invited to join Miss Kim for STEM Storytime under the tree in the Children and Teen Department. We meet for stories, songs, experiments and activities related to science, technology, engineering and math. No registration is required for this program.
Music and Movement Thursdays at 10 a. m. Sept. 13 until Dec. 30 Children of all ages can join in the fun with songs, a story and dancing! Join us on Thursdays under the tree in the Children and Teen Services Department. No registration required.
Bells Across America Monday, Sept. 17, from 4 to 5:30 p. m. Join the Kushkushkee Trail Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution in celebrating Constitution Day. We’ ll be outside ringing bells and enjoying a flintlock rifle demonstration by the Wildwood Longrifles, 18th century militia reenactors. Winners of the Constitution Week poster contest will be given their awards, and all poster contest entries will be on display. All ages welcome!

If you are in third, fourth or fifth grade, and you like to solve problems, find out how things work, and create things from your imagination, sign up for some engineering fun.
