I
f there was ever an example of living the
American dream, Kim Nguyen, owner of the
Nature Nails Spa in Murrysville, exemplifies
the spirit of that dream. The daughter
of Vietnamese immigrants, following the
Vietnam War, Kim spent seven years of her
youth in a refugee camp. Coming to the
realization that there was nothing left for
their family in Vietnam after the war, Nguyen’s
family immigrated to Lincoln, Nebraska. Her
parents each worked two minimum-wage
jobs to ensure that their children would have
a future as American citizens.
Wasting no time, Kim graduated with an
Associates Degree in Business before opening
Nature Nails Spa, a unique nail salon serving
Murrysville, Delmont and Export.
“My husband and I are raising our family to
believe that by striving to always do things
the right way, God will bless us. This translates
into my approach to my work as well. I want to
try to always provide my customers with the
best-quality services at a fair and reasonable
price,” Kim said.
Entering Nature Nails Spa, patrons are
immediately welcomed by a peaceful, clean
and tranquil atmosphere. We pride ourselves
on providing a very sanitary environment
with an emphasis on equipment that is
largely disposable, guaranteeing a clean,
safe experience. We are recognized in the
community for attention to detail and
hygiene. Clients can expect the finest acrylic
nails, gel polishes and dips for their manicures
and pedicures at Nature Nails Spa. We can also

replicate custom work that clients find in
magazines and online. In addition, we work
tirelessly to be punctual, always respecting
our client’s time in the chair.
Although we accept walk-ins, we
recommend making an appointment in
advance.
“I want all of our clients to relax and enjoy
their manicure/pedicure experience from
beginning to end, and I think that they
appreciate that their appointment time
provides that service,” Kim said.
We have three full-time employees, four
manicure chairs and four pedicure/spa
chairs. We are grateful to be continually
growing with referrals from satisfied
customers for over nine years.
With that kind of longevity, it is no surprise
that Nature Nails Spa is a strong supporter
of the community. We are avid financial
advocates of the local library system and the
local school districts.
