s school district and local government budgets
continue to tighten, the importance of community
partnerships between the public and private sectors
becomes paramount. Such partnerships frequently
prove to be mutually beneficial. One special partnership
is the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program
between the Franklin Regional School District and local private
businesses.
The EITC program provides opportunities for eligible
businesses, including C-Corporations, S-Corporations, and
Partnerships, to receive tax credits in return for contributing
