CARNEGIE SCREENWRITERS GROUP
10 a.m., Saturdays, Jan. 18, Feb. 15, Mar. 21
Script readings, networking, and discussions of writing and
filmmaking.
READERS’ THEATER GENERAL MEETING
2 p.m., Tuesdays, Jan. 21, Feb. 18, Mar. 17
This group performs for senior living facilities in the South
Hills area. So what is Readers’ Theater? Well, the difference
between theater and Readers’ Theater is that there is no
stage setting—the “actors” read from scripts (so there is no
memorizing of lines). However, it is not merely reading: the
actors do act and interact with each other, bringing scenes
to life for the enjoyment of the audience. The group is always
seeking new members, so drop by a general meeting to
learn more.
