Hudak received this award for her assistance to the Allegheny County District Attorney ’ s Office in a complex fraud / public corruption case during the pandemic . The information she provided in an expedited manner was above and beyond expectations during such a difficult time .
Investigators believe that Hudak ’ s dedication and tremendous work ethic were crucial in getting accurate and timely information necessary for filing charges in this case . She is known to bring this dedication and commitment to all the cases in which she is involved .
Hudak has been an active member of the IAFCI Pittsburgh Metro Chapter for the last 10 years . She has served on the board of directors for eight of those years , mainly in the role of treasurer .
“ If this last year has taught us anything , it is that we are all in this together — we need to assist one another for the greater good ,” she said . “ It ’ s not so much that ‘ I ’ did this ; this was a team effort between myself and the District Attorney ’ s office to make things right .”

THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER AT CORAOPOLIS UNITED METHODIST
Coraopolis United Methodist Church will hold its 9th Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner on Thursday , Nov . 25 , from 1 – 2 p . m . This year ’ s dinner will be a grab-and-go format again at the church , located at 1205 Ridge Avenue . Menu items include turkey , homemade mashed potatoes and gravy , stuffing , sweet potatoes , green beans , cranberries , and dessert .
The dinner is free-of-charge and all are welcome from the West Hills community . The church is partnering with Coraopolis Community Development for this year ’ s event . About the Thanksgiving Day Dinner The co-founder of this community event , Jeanne Gosgrove , began the event nine years ago . In 2018 , the event lost co-founder Randy Gosgrove , the person we all knew and loved as “ The Voice ” of the Steelers for 15 years . Their vision served 200 meals the first year . In 2020 , the annual event served 555 homemade meals , of which 111 were delivered by volunteers to first responders . This year ’ s grab-and-go format will allow the organizers to maximize safety during the COVID-19 pandemic and continue the tradition .
