The project replaced all equipment with modern design and equipment concepts to provide positive experiences that enhance children’s physical, mental and social well-being. The playground features a 2- to 5-year-old play area, a 5- to 12-year-old play area, an adventure play area and an adult fitness area, all joined by a barrier-free accessible pathway. The Clearview Federal Credit Union Splash Pad could be the most popular amenity. This 10-year partnership will provide years of fun for children and families in the Moon area. The project cost totaled over $1 million. The township received a $250,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and a $200,000 grant from the Gaming Economic Development Fund (GEDF) through the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County. 8 724.942.0940 TO ADVERTISE ❘ icmags.com
