In addition to emotional support , we recognize the importance of nurturing and caring for the body during cancer treatment and recovery . Our center offers a variety of wellness programs aimed at promoting physical well-being , such as yoga , Qi Gong , meditation and mindfulness , nutrition counseling , and strength building classes . These activities not only help alleviate treatment side effects but also empower individuals to take an active role in their healing journey . Studies show that the more active a person is , both during and after treatment , the better their outcomes are . Attendees of these sessions have shared feedback on the positive impact of incorporating these practices into their daily lives . A recent survey revealed that 90 % of those involved in the Center ’ s wellness activities reported improved stress management and a decrease in physical symptoms .
