PRESQUE ISLE GARDEN CLUB SALE !
The Presque Isle Garden Club is holding its annual plant sale Friday , May 17 , from 8 a . m . to 5 p . m ., and Saturday , May 18 , from 9 a . m . to noon at Asbury United Methodist Church , located at 4703 W . Ridge Road .
There will be flowers , house plants , and perennials from club members ’ gardens . This will give you a chance to chat with garden enthusiasts on the best way to care for your new plants . Delicious baked goods will also be offered for sale .
The Presque Isle Garden Club was organized in 1949 and federated in 1950 . It promotes an interest and knowledge of horticulture , and advances civic and roadside beautification while preserving natural resources . New members are always welcome ! ASBURY WOODS EVENTS !
Monday Music in the Woods If you like nature and great music , you can enjoy both every Monday at Asbury Woods from 6 to 8 p . m ., June 3 through July 29 . This free weekly event is held at the nature center , and is open to all ages .
Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the beautiful setting of the Celebration Garden at the Andrew J . Conner Nature Center . Local acts will include folk music , bluegrass , classic rock and other genres .
Wine & Dine in the Woods This fundraising event is an annual favorite ! This year ’ s event will be a night filled with wonderful wine , craft beers , delicious food and live music . It all happens on Friday , July 12 , from 7 to 10 p . m .
This fun event helps provide for the conservation and preservation of Asbury Woods , a lovely place to connect with nature and learn more about it .

LAKE ERIE CYCLEFEST !
This four-day celebration , July 25-28 , has six unique riding events at locations across Erie County . All proceeds from events sponsored by AHN Saint Vincent Hospital and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield benefit local charities .
