BEGINNER ENGLISH PAPER PIECING

English paper piecing is a technique that allows the quilter to create unique and intricate designs by wrapping fabric around paper templates. These templates are then sewn together and the paper is removed. This method is slow stitching that is meditative and relaxing. It is wonderful for people who like to work with their hands. English paper piecing doesn’ t require a sewing machine, and it is a portable method of sewing that can be done anywhere. Project ideas include table runners, wall hangings, quilts or throws. You may bring your own ideas too!
Materials Needed: Scissors, a pen, Elmer ' s washable school glue, and a charm pack, 2 fat quarters, or a total of a half-yard of fabric.

Each class, you’ ll create a seasonal masterpiece with stepby-step instructor guidance. Whether you’ re a beginner or an experiences painter, Connie will lead you through the process in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere. No experience needed- just bring your creativity!
Supplies Needed: a 3 / 4” flat brush; a 1 / 2” angle brush, a # 6 or 8 round brush and a tiny liner brush.
