WINTER STORM SPOTLIGHT

TOWNSHIP SNOW HEROES
The storm hit hard . Roads disappeared under thick layers of snow , visibility dropped to near zero , and temperatures plummeted . While most hunkered down at home , staying warm and safe , others were out in the cold , working tirelessly to keep Millcreek moving . Snowplow drivers pushing through exhaustion to clear the streets . Dispatchers handling an overwhelming flood of emergency calls . Officers braving icy roads to respond when residents needed them most . Local businesses stepping up to support those on the frontlines .
This is the story of those who didn ’ t stop when the storm came . This is the story of Millcreek ’ s winter storm heroes .
PUBLIC WORKS
For six straight days , 26 Public Works crew members rotated through 12- hour shifts , keeping roads as clear as possible . It wasn ’ t just about plowing — it was about making sure residents could get to work , emergency crews could respond , and life in Millcreek didn ’ t come to a standstill . 800 tons of salt spread across our roads . Countless hours behind the wheel , fighting against relentless snowfall . A commitment to making sure everyone could get where they needed to go — safely .
The storm tested us — but WE stood strong . To every plow driver , officer , dispatcher , business owner , and resident who played a part in getting us through it : Thank YOU . Because this is what community looks like .
