The Millfair Compost Center will operate SEVEN days a week from March 23rd - December 13th for the 2020 season! While dropping
off is FREE to Millcreek, Fairview, and West County residents, products sold at the Center are made available to ALL residents! Residential
permits may be obtained from the Millcreek Township Building Department or Millfair Compost & Recycling Center Check-In Booth for FREE!

COLLECTION WEEKS:

GRASS: Grass MUST be bagged and placed curbside for weekly trash collection.
An alternative to bagging grass would be to use a mulching lawn mower or to place
clippings inside a compost bin along with “browns” and aerate regularly.
BRANCHES: Branches must be cut into 4ft. sections and placed curbside during
Brush Collection Week (September 14th – September 18th) or taken to the Millfair
Compost & Recycling Center. Branches CANNOT be placed in the Recycle Toters as this contaminates our curbside recycling program.
CURBSIDE LEAVES: ALL leaf waste MUST be placed in clear/transparent bags during the scheduled leaf collection
weeks on your normal pickup day. Bags must be placed separate from trash and recycling containers and CANNOT contain GRASS
and branches! Leaves CANNOT be placed in the Recycle Toters as this contaminates our curbside recycling program. A third truck from
Advanced Disposal will pick up the leaf bags on your regularly scheduled collection day.
If your trash, recycling, or leaf waste is not collected, please call Advanced Disposal at 814.833.1111 ext.133 to report a missed collection.

Q: What should I do with my trash and recycle
toters if I move out of my home? – Joel W.
A: When moving to a new address (within or outside Millcreek
Township), please leave the trash and recycling toters at your old
address. Millcreek Township requests that you place them inside
your garage or behind the home so they are available to the new
homeowner but not visible from the street. If you move to a new
address and there are no trash and recycle toters present, please
call Advanced Disposal at 814.833.1111 ext.133.
