MILLFAIR COMPOST & RECYCLING CENTER
The Millfair Compost & Recycling Center will be reopening its gates on Saturday, April 1, 2017! While dropping off is FREE to Millcreek, Fairview, and West County residents, products sold at the Center are made available to ALL Erie County Residents! The Millfair Compost & Recycling Center is located at 2301 Millfair Road and operates SEVEN days a week from April 1st- December 10th of the 2017 season. Residential permits may be obtained from the Millcreek Township Building Department or Millfair Compost & Recycling Center Check-In Booth for FREE! CURBSIDE LEAVES
ALL leaf waste must be placed in clear / transparent bags during the scheduled leaf collection weeks on your normal pickup day. Bags must be placed separate from trash and recycling containers and CANNOT contain GRASS and branches! A third truck from Waste Management will pick up the leaf bags on your regularly scheduled collection day. Grass must be bagged and placed curbside for trash collection. Branches must be cut into 4ft. sections and placed curbside during Brush Collection Week( Sept. 11th – Sept. 15th) or taken to the Millfair Compost & Recycling Center. If your trash, recycling, or leaf waste is not collected, please call Waste Management at 1.866.833.1327 to report a missed collection.

• Appliances with Freon- $ 15.00 Fee per unit( i. e. Refrigerator, A / C Unit, Freezer, Dehumidifier)
• Propane Tanks- $ 3.00 Fee per tank( Disposable propane tanks not accepted)
• Tires- $ 3.00 Fee Per Tires $ 5.00 Fee Per Tire with Rim( Automobile & Light Truck Tires Only. Limit of 8 per household.)
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Bedsprings, electronics( Televisions, Computers, etc.), Fluorescent Bulbs & Tubes, Gas Tanks, Paint & Paint Thinner, Pesticides, and Trash
PAPER SHREDDING
• Sensitive documents will not be shredded on site this year.
• FREE, complimentary shredding service provided by Pirrello Enterprises.
• Residents are permitted to bring up to 5 boxes( 2’ x 3’) or equivalent in bags.
• Residential Shredding ONLY. Businesses must make other arrangements!
