MPD JOINS FEWER THAN 21 % OF PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENTS TO HOLD THE DISTINCTION
The Millcreek Township Police Department has been officially approved for Law Enforcement Accreditation by the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission( PLEAC).
MPD is now one of only 209 accredited law enforcement agencies among more than 1,000 police departments across the Commonwealth.
" This recognition reflects the dedication and professionalism of every member of this department. Accreditation is not a one-time achievement— it is a commitment to continuous improvement and accountability in everything we do," said Chief Carter Mook.

Accreditation through the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission( PLEAC) offers tangible and intangible benefits for agencies across the Commonwealth including:
