Bus Patrol Cameras in Use
Drivers should use caution and be ready to stop for school buses, especially during morning and afternoon hours.
All Millcreek Township School District buses are equipped with Bus Patrol AI cameras. The system records violations when drivers fail to stop for buses with flashing red lights and extended stop arms. Footage is reviewed by Millcreek Police, and fines may be issued if necessary. When you meet or move to overtake a stopped school bus with red signal lights flashing and stop arm activated, you MUST STOP.
When approaching a school bus with flashing amber lights, SLOW DOWN and be PREPARED TO STOP.
When you approach an intersection where a school bus is stopped with red signal lights flashing and stop arm activated, you MUST STOP.
You MUST STOP at least ten( 10) feet away from the school bus.
