QUESTION: Could you provide a specific list of what plastics are acceptable to recycle in Millcreek?
ANSWER: Recycle plastics by shape: bottles, jars, jugs and tubs. The " chasing arrows " symbol doesn ' t necessarily mean it ' s recyclable. Recycling is collected by Waste Management and recycled at the Neville Island Material Recovery Facility. Let ' s go through a few specific items below:

Screw-on lids are only recyclable if placed back on the bottle. Be sure to give a quick rinse to remove food or liquid debris. All recyclables should be placed into the toter loose, not bagged.
