CURBSIDE LEAF & BRUSH COLLECTION WEEKS

Brush must be tied and bundled into 4 ft. sections and placed curbside on collection day during Brush Collection Week.
ALL leaf waste must be placed in clear / transparent bags during the scheduled leaf collection weeks on your normal pickup day. Clear / transparent bags are available at the Millcreek Township Building( 3608 West 26th Street) for purchase. Cash or check only($ 5.00 / 25 clear bags). Clear bags may also be obtained from any retailer of your choice. Bags must be placed separate from trash and recycling and CANNOT contain GRASS and / or branches! Remember, bagged grass clippings must be placed in garbage bags for trash collection! Consider mulching your grass clippings onto your lawn instead of bagging for a more eco-friendly alternative!

MILLFAIR SPECIAL COLLECTION EVENT DIVERTS OVER 14,000 POUNDS OF WASTE
The Millfair Special Collection Event was a big success, with 309 residents turning out in strong numbers to responsibly recycle a wide range of items. In total, the event diverted thousands of pounds of waste from the landfill, including:
4,120 lbs of tires 6,395 lbs of appliances with Freon 425 lbs of propane tanks

749 lbs of car batteries 2,805 lbs of scrap metal 7793 lbs of shredded documents illcreek

MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP NEWS
Sensitive documents were securely shredded by Northcoast Inc. Recycling Specialist, while textiles were collected for the Erie City Mission, and construction and demolition waste was gathered for Habitat for Humanity. Millcreek Township would like to thank the community for helping make the event a success and supporting both environmental and charitable goals!
