MILLCREEK POLICE

The U . S . Department of Transportation ’ s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ( NHTSA ) is working with the Millcreek community to help end speeding and to keep vehicle passengers and pedestrians safe by urging drivers to slow down . Speeding is illegal : If law enforcement pulls you over for speeding , they may issue a ticket that could result in a fine or community service . Speeding may seem like the faster option but , ultimately , Speeding Slows You Down .
Law enforcement officers will accept no excuse for speeding . Some drivers think it is safe to drive within the “ buffer zone ,” just a few miles above the speed limit . When it comes to speeding , the posted speed limit is the law . If you are pulled over for speeding , you will be issued a ticket .
